Defense forces of Ukraine are conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction, and Russian troops are trying to attack in the Novoiehorivka and Bilohorivka areas of the Luhansk region.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar told about this, Censor.NET reports
"Active hostilities continue in the Lyman region. There, the enemy is now making considerable efforts to advance in the Novoiehorivka and Bilohorivka districts of the Luhansk region. But without success. Our defenders are destroying the enemy and preventing his plans from being implemented.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive actions south of the city of Bakhmut. Heavy fighting continues in Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Andriivka. There are certain successes, they are fixed at the achieved milestones," said Maliar.
As Maliar noted, the offensive operation of our troops continues in the southern directions. There are certain successes, in particular in the Novodanilivka-Novoprokopivka direction. Now ours are anchored on the achieved boundaries.
In the north, the enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine, keeping in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions three groups of troops covering the state border ("Bryansk", "Kursk" and "Belhorod") with the aim of restraining our troops and preventing their transfer to areas of active hostilities.
The Russians also continue shelling populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and carry out sabotage and reconnaissance activities in violation of the State Border of Ukraine.
