Two-thirds of a billion dollars in frozen assets of Russian oligarchs, which the US plans to transfer to Ukraine, will go to military and civilian assistance in the field of security

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting, Censor.NET reports.

"During his visit to Kyiv, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced an additional $1 billion package of support for our state. Two-thirds of this amount will go to new military and civilian aid in the field of security," Shmyhal noted.

Of this amount, Ukraine has already received $5.4 million.

"For the first time, the USA is handing over to Ukraine the confiscated assets of sanctioned Russian oligarchs. This is the first $5.4 million, which will be directed to the rehabilitation of Ukrainian veterans. This is very important," he emphasized.

Shmyhal added that Ukraine will make Russia pay for all crimes and destruction, including financially.
