As Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform, the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Region, Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, announced this on the broadcast of the Yedyni Novyny telethon.
In particular, he informed that in the Robotyne district of the Zaporizhzhia region, "our guys are entrenched, they do not stop destroying the enemy."
"The enemy has withdrawn reserves, is trying to feel our defenses somewhere, where we are defending and entrenched, with subversive and reconnaissance groups. There are certain successes. For now, we will not talk about them, but our guys are pressing the enemy and inflicting significant losses. In total, the enemy lost 204 people in the Tavria direction over the past day, and the occupiers began to surrender again. 4 such cases were recorded last day," Shtupun said.
He also noted that the Defense Forces continued the counter-battery fight.
"We destroyed 6 guns and damaged another 5," added the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
Informing about the situation in Mariinka, Donetsk region, Shtupun noted that "there are 10 to 15 combat clashes there every day."
"The enemy does not stop trying to take the ruins, attacks mainly with infantry. These are motorized riflemen and assembled units, I would call them "Storm" and "Storm Z" punishment. They protect the equipment as much as possible. Sometimes sends out, but mostly attacks with infantry. Our guys are hitting quite successfully, and the enemy will suffer significant losses there," Shtupun said.
"Sometimes it is possible to destroy something more important. And all the time, our soldiers, both artillerymen and the relevant special forces, are trying to destroy the enemy's logistics and make it as difficult as possible to transport water, food, and ammunition for both artillery and small arms," added the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
When asked what are the most difficult tasks in the Tavria direction, Shtupun answered: "The most difficult thing is to go to a fairly powerful defense of the enemy without an advantage in aviation."
In addition, he noted that with the arrival of cold weather, the tactics of military operations will have to be changed.
"The biggest changes are expected in two or three weeks when the leaves start to fall. We will have to change tactics in general. That is, it will be a different disguise. The problems will be the same as the enemy's, that is, we will be able to work a little better with artillery and drones, but the enemy will also, let's say, have certain advantages in this, the hunt for our artillery will open. But our guys have quite a lot of experience during 9 years of war, so I think we will beat the enemy, as we beat them," Shtupun said.
It will be recalled that the day before the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction reported a partial success in the Verbove and Novoprokopivka districts of the Zaporizhzhia region as a result of assault operations.
