Biden promised Zelensky that US would provide Ukraine with small amount of ATACMS, - mass media

During his visit to Washington, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a promise from his American colleague Joe Biden that the United States would provide Ukraine with a small number of long-range ATACMS missiles.
This is reported by NBC News, citing its own sources, Censor.NET reports.
Media sources did not say when exactly Ukraine is expected to receive ATACMS missiles or when it will be announced publicly.
Unnamed officials from the Pentagon noted that the United States does not have a large stockpile of these missiles, which, as the publication notes, are much more powerful than conventional artillery.
Media sources in Congress said there is still debate over the number of ATACMS and the type of missiles Ukraine will receive.
Recall that the ATACMS is a missile that can hit targets at a distance of 180 miles (about 289 km. - Ed.), which will allow it to strike Russian supply lines and troops far behind the front lines. They can be launched by HIMARS MLRS.
