The enemy has reduced the activity of aviation and artillery, and rains are preventing the use of UAVs in the Tauria direction
Colonel Oleksandr Stupun, spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauria Defense Forces, said this during a telethon, Censor.NET reports citing ArmyInform.
"The enemy has somewhat reduced the activity of aviation and artillery, and in recent days, due to weather conditions, the Russians have reduced their activity and intensity of use of equipment," the spokesman said.
Stupun added that due to the rains, drones cannot fly in full, so there is no adjustment of enemy artillery fire, so artillery is not firing as actively, and aviation has also somewhat reduced its activity.
"We see that the enemy is trying to divert attention from the actions in Zaporizhzhia by using Avdiivka and Maryinka to make us move some reserves to Donetsk region," added Stupun.
As for the changes in weather conditions, the officer says that the rains have not yet washed away the roads, as it has not been raining for long, so the equipment is still being used. However, according to Colonel Oleksandr Stupun, the enemy has always used equipment and fought mostly with infantry. Now, due to the rains, it is difficult to use unmanned aerial vehicles, and the enemy is not too eager to move forward without reconnaissance.
