If Russia gets Iranian ballistic missiles, it will be serious threat, - Ihnat
Although the exact characteristics of Iranian ballistic missiles are not known, in the hands of Russia they would be a serious threat.
The spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat, said this in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
He believes that the Russian invaders will try to accumulate missile weapons for strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
"Knowing about the difficulties in repelling ballistic attacks, the occupiers will seek to accumulate missiles, and if they do receive them from Iran, it will pose a danger to Ukraine," Ihnat said.
He assesses the threat from Iranian missiles as significant, although the exact characteristics of this type of weaponry remain unknown.
"This is a serious threat. We have been talking about these missiles for a year. No one knows how effective and accurate they are. Of course, Iran will say that they are better, but they are not better than Iskander, 100%. But if Russia gets them, it will be a serious problem," he stressed.
