International Fund for Support of Ukraine to provide more than €147 million for demining equipment and engineering supplies

The International Fund for Support of Ukraine will provide more than €147 million in financial assistance for the maintenance of military equipment, demining equipment and engineering facilities.

This was announced by the Danish Ministry of Defence on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing the European Pravda.

The countries participating in the International Fund for Support of Ukraine will allocate DKK 1.1 billion (EUR 147.5 million).

"This contribution is funded by Denmark together with other member countries of the International Fund for Support of Ukraine - the UK, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, as well as Lithuania and Iceland," the statement said.

Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen added that Ukraine needs both ammunition and assistance with the maintenance of previously transferred weapons at this stage of the war.

The funds will be used for equipment to service various systems in close proximity to the front line, spare parts, tank transportation, and the purchase of equipment to cross Russian defence lines, including demining, bridges and crossings.
