Occupiers are trying to maneuver between islands of Kherson region, deploy observation posts. Defense forces destroyed two enemy watercraft during past day, - OC "South"
The left bank of the Kherson region has become a hub for the Russian occupiers, where they are trying to restore units after heated clashes in the Zaporizhzhia and eastern directions.
Natalia Humeniuk, the spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, announced this during the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
According to her, the occupiers are pulling their boats to the left bank, replenishing supplies, but Ukrainian fighters are constantly destroying them. In particular, two enemy watercraft were eliminated over the past day.
"We regularly try to "cut off" their river fleet," Humeniuk said.
She said that groups of enemy boats were maneuvering among the islands, along the left bank, patrolling and observing the actions of the Defense Forces.
Regarding the possibility of the enemy trying to force the Dnipro, Humeniuk noted that it would be "an absolutely fatal story for them." According to her, the Defense Forces are firmly entrenched on the right bank and will oppose such attempts.
"That's why it's actually not possible, and even if some SRG is desperate and lands, it will fall into a trap," the spokeswoman said.
At the same time, she added that such attempts are not recorded today, but there is maneuvering between the islands, where they are trying to deploy observation posts, supply ammunition, and change personnel.
At the same time, she noted that the enemy's forces, which are concentrated on the left bank, are quite powerful, prepared, and holding the defense, but their number is not increasing.
