Ukraine buys 60% of entire world production of Mavic drones, - Shmyhal
Ukraine also produces a line of powerful drones that make "certain technological breakthroughs."
This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the Kyiv International Economic Forum, Censor.NET informs.
"This year, we have additionally allocated UAH 40 billion for the purchase of both Ukrainian-made and foreign drones. Ukraine buys 60% of the world's Mavic production," the head of government said.
Shmyhal added that, in addition to imports, Ukraine also independently produces a line of powerful drones, which are making "certain technological breakthroughs" today.
According to him, the government is trying to facilitate and speed up the creation of the Ukrainian drone market and is similarly engaged in stimulating breakthroughs in other areas of the military industry and industry, investing in dual-purpose technologies.
