72 people’s deputies ignored the vote on draft law 8371 on banning the activities of religious organizations connected to the aggressor state.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Chesno social movement.
It is noted that at the same time, these people's deputies voted "for" consideration of other issues on the agenda at the Council meeting or "did not vote" (the card is in the slot, but no further action taken).
"The largest percentage of People's Deputies who "disappeared" during this vote from the entire membership are in the deputy groups "Restoration of Ukraine" (59%), "For the Future" (29%) and Platform for Life and Peace (PLP) (27%). In general, there are none in the European Solidarity and Holos political parties.
Some deputies were "absent" during the vote for this bill, but were present in the chamber and voted on other issues. This means that it was during this vote that the people's deputies pulled out personal voting cards so as not to make a decision and not to be responsible for it," the statement reads.
"Against" the adoption of the bill were mostly deputies from the PLP and the "Restoration of Ukraine", formed after the ban on Opposition Platform – For Life (OPZZh), as well as the non-factional majority leader Dmytro Shpenov. At the same time, the only people's deputy from the PLP group who voted "for" was Yurii Zahorodnii.
Only two People's Deputies "abstained" during the vote - ex-"servant" and majoritarian from Kirovohrad Region Oleh Voronko, who is now a member of the "Restoration of Ukraine" group, and majoritarian from "Servant of the People" Heorhii Mazurashu.
Also, the card of Ihor Huz, a Volyn majoritarian from the For the Future group, who called for support for the decision to ban the Moscow church, did not work during the vote.
