In total, the enemy launched 4 missiles and 68 air strikes, fired 49 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
According to the General Staff, air strikes were carried out in Sinkivka, Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region; Serebryanske forestry in the Luhansk region; Klishchiivka, New York, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Oleksandrople, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhayne, Staromayorske in the Donetsk region; Novodariivka, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Piatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region; Zmiivka, Olhivka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Sadove, Prydniprovske in the Kherson region.
About 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.
The operational situation in the area of responsibility of the OSGT "North" in the Volyn and Polissia direction remains without significant changes.
"In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region," the statement said.
In the area of responsibility of the OSGT "Khortytsia" separate military unit in the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 5 enemy attacks near Ivanivka, Kharkiv region.
According to the General Staff, in the Liman sector, our soldiers are holding steadfastly and successfully repelled all enemy attacks near Nadia, Luhansk region.
"In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Khromove, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defence forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating the achieved positions," the General Staff added.
It is also noted that in the area of responsibility of the "Tavria" in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy continues to try to surround Avdiivka, actively using aviation, but our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defence and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka and Tonenke in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, where the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled more than 10 enemy attacks.
In the Mariinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Mariinka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repelled about 15 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region and southeast of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
"At the same time, the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, had partial success south of Robotyne, inflicted losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausted the enemy along the entire front line," the statement said.
In the area of responsibility of the OSGT "Odesa" in the Kherson direction, the Defence Forces are conducting counter-battery combat and inflicting fire on the enemy's rear.
Over the day, the aviation of the Defence Forces conducted 7 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Missile troops destroyed 8 artillery pieces, 4 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an electronic warfare station, an enemy pontoon-bridge crossing, and remotely mined the area in two areas.
