Enemy has intensified drone reconnaissance, is preparing missile and drone attack on Ukraine, - OC "South"
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Ukraine South, stated this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs.
According to her, it is impossible to state the exact time of the Russian attack, but she emphasized that the Ukrainian defense forces are fully prepared to repel the invaders' attacks from the sky.
"We are ready and aware that such an attack can happen at any time," she said.
As of the morning of October 27, there are five enemy ships on duty in the Black Sea, which include patrol ships, border patrol, and supply vessels.
"There is also one underwater missile carrier that can be equipped with Kalibr-type missiles," Humeniuk noted.
She emphasized that it is difficult to detect missile launches from an underwater carrier.
"The Russians often launch missiles at a low altitude, so they can be detected only before the moment of attack. And only a few seconds can pass between an alarm signal and a direct strike," Humeniuk added.
