"The large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country continues for 621 days. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 57 combat clashes took place.
In total, the enemy carried out 10 airstrikes, launched 24 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged. Unfortunately, there are wounded among the civilian population.
On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the armed forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. About 20 settlements, including Bleshnya, Karpovychi of the Chernihiv region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks; Seredyna Buda, Stara Huta, Fotovizh, Volfine of Sumy region; Okip, Budarky, Hatyshche, Okhrimivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyan direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Synkivka, Ivanivka of the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka of the Luhansk region, where our soldiers repelled 15 attacks. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Kamianka, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Berestov in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, more than 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults near Bohdanivka and Khromovo in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 3 attacks. More than 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Pivdenne of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiyiv direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke settlements of the Donetsk region. Here, the Defense Forces repelled 9 attacks. More than 10 settlements, including Novokalynov, Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Mariinka direction, the occupiers conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Krasnohorivka and Mariinka districts of the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks. About 10 settlements of the Donetsk region came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Staromayorsky area of the Donetsk region. About 10 settlements, in particular, Vodyane, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, and Blagodatne of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, our defenders repelled 6 enemy attacks near Krasnoye, Robotynoye, and north-western Vervovye in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements, in particular, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Mala Tokmachka Robotyne, and Piatikhatky of the Zaporizhzhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar fire.
On the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of Beryslav settlement of the Kherson region. Zelenivka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson were also hit by enemy artillery fire.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made 5 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and 1 - on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complex. Units of the missile forces hit 3 artillery pieces, a command post, and an area where the enemy's personnel, weapons, and military equipment are concentrated," the General Staff reported.
