Due to the presence of Western technologies, Ukraine is in a better position in the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles than the Russian Federation.
This was announced on the air of the telethon by the spokesman of the Air Force of the AFU, Yurii Ihnat, informed by Censor.NET with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
Ukraine is in a better position when it comes to drones than Russia. In particular, due to the presence of Western technologies.
"There are not many drones, we need to build up these systems. We are perhaps even in a better position than the same Russia because we have access to Western technologies," Ignat explained.
He noted that Western support allows Ukraine to increase the number of attack drones. This, in turn, will allow attacks on Russian territory.
Ignat also emphasized that Russia may focus on drones in future attacks, as the stockpile of missiles has been depleted compared to last year. He stated that Ukraine has countermeasures against drones, in particular, Gepard anti-aircraft guns and mobile fire groups.
According to the spokesman, it is mobile groups that can "rationally" destroy Russian drones. Yes, yesterday two-thirds of "Shahed" were destroyed by fighters of such fire groups.
