The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) served a notice of suspicion to MP Serhii Labaziuk. He is suspected of trying to bribe the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and the Head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development.
This was reported by the press service of the SAPO, Censor.NET reports.
Thus, the prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office served a notice of suspicion to the people's deputy and his accomplice, the head of the business entity.
The People's Deputy was accused of providing illegal benefits to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine — the Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine (Oleksandr Kubrakov. - Ed.) and the Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine (Mustafa Naiiem. - Ed.).
"It was established that the People's Deputy of Ukraine, acting in collusion with the director of the joint-stock company, offered top officials an unlawful benefit for the allocation of UAH 1 billion of additional financing for the work, which was carried out by the specified company controlled by them. The proposed amount of unlawful benefit was to be between 3% and 5% of the amount of funding.
Subsequently, the suspects provided a part of this unlawful benefit in the amount of 150 thousand US dollars to persons occupying a particularly responsible position," the statement said.
The actions of persons qualified according to the signs of the crime provided for in Part 4 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It is noted that the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine — the Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine cooperated with NABU and SAPO and contributed to the investigation of illegal actions.
According to the People's Deputy Oleksii Honcharenko, we are talking about a member of the "For the Future" faction Serhii Labaziuk.
