Ukraine’s Armed Forces received 5,000 FPV drones thanks to Operation "Unity", a joint fundraising effort by UNITED24, "Come Back Alive" and monobank.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.
"Another 5,000 FPV drones purchased in the framework of Operation "Unity" are already with our fighters. It's just in time for the occupants to receive unforgettable Christmas gifts," the statement said.
According to Fedorov, each drone is equipped with shaped charge and high-explosive shells.
"So the military received the birds in full combat readiness," the minister added.
