Most conflicts between citizens and Military Recruitment Centres are due to attempts to avoid mobilization, - Land Forces spokesman Fito

Situations, where representatives of the Military Recruitment Centres use force against citizens or break into their homes, are unacceptable. In case of violations, you should contact the police or the hotline of the Ministry of Defense.
Volodymyr Fito, a spokesman for the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
He emphasized that the Land Forces Command stands for mobilization to be carried out strictly within the law.
"If there are cases when someone is being subjected to force or their home is being broken into, citizens should contact the police or call the hotline. But we should not forget that, in addition to rights, everyone also has responsibilities. And every citizen must defend the homeland, as enshrined in the Constitution," said Fito.
However, according to him, in most cases of conflicts with the Military Recruitment Centres, it is the case that citizens were trying to avoid mobilization.
"There are, of course, violations by the Military Recruitment Centres - all such cases are investigated and given a legal assessment. We are in the legal regime of martial law. All citizens must have documents proving at least their identity when moving around the city. And if you have a military registration document, there will be no questions to those liable for military service at all," the military said.
Fito urged that in case of violations by the Military Recruitment Centres, they should contact the police or the hotline of the Ministry of Defense.
