Production of 1 million drones announced by Zelenskyy next year is only FPV, - Kamyshin
Next year, in addition to FPV drones, Ukraine can produce more than 10,000 medium-range strike drones, as well as more than 1,000 drones with a range of 1,000 km.
This was announced by the Minister of Strategic Industry of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin, Censor.NET informs.
"Yesterday, at the final press conference, my President promised that Ukraine will produce a million drones next year. And this is only about FPV drones. Already in December, we are producing more than 50,000 FPV drones.
In addition to FPV drones, we are already able to produce more than 10,000 mid-range strike drones (hundreds of km) and 1,000+ drones with a range of 1,000 km next year," the message reads.
According to Kamyshin, all production capacities are ready, and contracting for 2024 is starting.
At a press conference on December 19, 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that next year Ukraine will produce a million of its own drones.
