OSCE admits terrorist attacks from Donetsk residential areas, - Joint Centre for Control and Coordination

At a briefing for the OSCE SMM representatives at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination today, Aug. 3, the Head of the Ukrainian side, Major-General Andrii Taran thanked the international observers for their first unbiased reference in a daily report posted on the OSCE website on Aug. 1 to illegal armed units firing from the Donetsk residential areas.
"From evening July 30 till night July 31, as well as during the day July 31 the situation in the "DPR"-controlled Donetsk and near the Donetsk airport remained tense. From 7.35 p.m., July 30, the SMM recorded 40 outcoming explosions from the Donetsk downtown area classified as artillery and anti-aircraft systems fire two to five kilometers to the west and south-west of their positions," the statement reads.
As reported, the length of Donetsk from north to south makes 28 km, from east to west - 55 km.
