According to Censor.NET, with reference to Ukrinform, Brown said this in a statement.

"For the third day in a row, large-scale air strikes by the Russian Federation have killed people, including children, and damaged homes and other civilian infrastructure... The United Nations reminds the Russian Federation once again that indiscriminate attacks and shelling of civilians and civilian infrastructure are strictly prohibited under international humanitarian law," Brown said.

She noted that many areas of the Ukrainian capital were left without electricity and water supply at a time when temperatures are expected to drop to almost -20 degrees Celsius this week. Hundreds of thousands of people in the Donetsk region are also without electricity as a result of the hostilities.

"On behalf of the humanitarian community, I reaffirm our commitment to continue to support the people of Ukraine as they suffer the devastation caused by the Russian Federation's invasion. And today, my thoughts are with the families and friends of the dead and wounded, and with those who are concerned about those whose fate is still unknown," Brown assured.
