The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released information about the Russian occupiers’ air strikes on the territory of Ukraine on January 2, 2024.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported on the official Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The statement reads: "During the day, 56 combat engagements took place. The enemy also carried out 66 air strikes, including with Shahed-136/131 drones, and fired 2 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
Unfortunately, the Russian terrorist attacks resulted in the deaths and more than 100 injured and wounded civilians, including children. More than 100 private residential and apartment buildings, other civilian and industrial infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions were destroyed and damaged."
