DPRK’s missile use in war against Ukraine creates new international challenges – South Korea at UN

This was stated by South Korea's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Hwang Joon Kook, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"According to expert estimates, a KN-23 missile was fired at Ukraine, which, according to the DPRK, is capable of delivering nuclear warheads," the diplomat said. He emphasized that from the point of view of South Korea, this is a demonstration of an existential threat. The diplomat explained that one of the missiles traveled 460 km, which projects the threat of a nuclear strike on most of the Republic of Korea from the DPRK, including the port city of Busan.
The Permanent Representative admitted that the use of North Korean missiles in Ukraine is a simulation of a DPRK attack on South Korea. He emphasized that launches from Russian territory allow Pyongyang to obtain valuable technical information and encourage even greater exports of North Korean missiles to Russia. It also brings in new revenue for Pyongyang's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
"The DPRK's missiles used in Ukraine pose new challenges that require a joint response," said South Korea's Permanent Representative to the UN. He called on all members of the UN Security Council to make extraordinary efforts to curb the DPRK's provocations and nuclear programs, and to stop Moscow and Pyongyang from ignoring the Security Council's resolutions.
