For Russian Federation, "pause" in war is beneficial in order to destabilize Ukraine. We cannot stop - Zelenskyy
The head of state said this in an interview with LRT, Censor.NET informs.
"We don't have the right to just stand and accumulate. This is a big mistake of Ukraine, which feels sorry for people, which protects its own people, and does not throw as many people as it wants to die. It is very profitable for the Russian Federation to stand still. This means that this is a permanent war on the territory of Ukraine. Not on the territory of Russia. This means that the economy is in question, that there will be no investment. Who will invest in a country at war? That is, for it (Russia. - ed.) it's all destabilization of Ukraine," he noted.
According to Zelenskyy, this is very beneficial for Russia.
"And for us, if we stop, we will give Russia the opportunity to fully restore its weapons and its potential. Therefore, we will move and this is the most important thing," the president added.
