By end of February, European Commission may assess progress of reforms in Ukraine, which will determine start of EU accession talks – media

On February 27, the European Commission may publish an assessment of Ukraine’s progress in implementing European integration reforms, which will determine the actual start of negotiations on the country’s accession to the EU.
This was reported by Radio Liberty's Europe editor Ricard Jozwiak, citing his sources, Censor.NET reports.
He noted that the European Commission expects to publish an assessment of the progress of reforms in Ukraine, Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina on February 27.
However, this date is not yet finalized.
He also said that today EU ambassadors gave a partial green light to start negotiations with the European Parliament on a $50 billion aid package for Ukraine.
"The full green light is likely to be given at the EU summit on February 1. Hungary is not blocking so far," he added.
