Europe must find solution to continue financial support for Ukraine – European Parliament President Metsola
The European Union should find a decision to continue financial support for Ukraine at an extraordinary summit of the EU Council.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to La Repubblica.
"Europe must continue to demonstrate unity and solidarity, and this is what we are striving for. This means that on February 1, at the extraordinary European Council, we must find a decision at the EU level to continue financial support," she said.
Metsola emphasized that Ukraine is in great need of support.
"With this instrument for Ukraine, we are investing in the recovery, reconstruction and modernization of the country. And I remain hopeful and confident that a solution can be found," she added.
