Russian troops are trying to recruit both the marines and the landing forces, which indicates a desire to increase the effectiveness of assault operations.
As reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform, the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command "South" Natalia Humeniuk told about this on the air of the telethon.
"Perhaps they were replanning and waiting for the arrival of additional units. Today we see that they are rolling back to the level they were approximately at before," she said.
Humeniuk noted that there was a sharp drop in enemy activity. "If earlier we recorded from 10 to 13 assaults per day, recently there were 1-3 assaults. This is a sharp drop. However, today there were already 9 assaults," she said.
In addition, according to her, the Russian troops are now using not only units of the "Storm-Z" type but are also trying to recruit marines and landing forces, which indicates a desire to increase the effectiveness of assault operations. "Obviously, they are tasked with breaking through our defenses," she added.
Humeniuk assured that the Defense Forces are repelling these attacks. Over the past day, up to 38 enemy personnel were destroyed.
