Russians brought doctors from Karelia to occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia - National Resistance Centre

Due to the lack of personnel in the occupied territories, Russians continue to bring medical teams from the territory of the Russian Federation. This happens on a rotational basis with bonuses paid to the participants of the illegal business trip.
Currently, medical teams from Karelia have been deployed to the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, anaesthetists, an oncologist, ultrasound diagnosticians and therapists are working there.
At the same time, the quality and accessibility of medical services for the local population remains critically low. As previously reported by the National Resistance Centre, all hospitals in the TOT have an order to provide priority services to the Russian military. Even when providing emergency care, preference is given to Russians. As a result, the situation in the temporarily occupied regions is critical amid the worsening epidemiological situation and the humanitarian crisis in general. The death toll among the civilian population is increasing significantly.
