The fight against corruption and reforms in Ukraine should not only be manifested in the adoption of laws.

This was stated by the Special Representative of the US President for the Economic Recovery of Ukraine Penny Pritzker, Censor.NET reports with reference to Dzerkalo Tyzhnia.

"Ukraine's resilience and resilience are absolutely amazing... the economy is vibrant and that's something to keep in mind. Secondly, we have to recognize the progress that Ukraine has made in anti-corruption legislation... There is still a lot of work to be done. We all realize this. Many reforms still need to be carried out, and we emphasize all the time that it is not just about passing laws, but about an absolute paradigm shift in the culture of fighting corruption. We need to change the standards for selecting people for public office, we need to ensure accountability, responsibility, power and proper powers for anti-corruption bodies," Pritzker said in Davos.

The Special Representative reminded that these changes are necessary to ensure that the American private sector can take into account the risks when planning investments in Ukraine's recovery.
