United States is focused on Ukraine having everything to hold out for 2024 - Blinken
Ukraine needs to have everything it needs to hold out through 2024. The United States is working on this.
According to Censor.NET, this was announced by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in an interview with CNBC.
He once again stressed that, even while talking to journalists, Russian aggression continues.
We need to make sure that together with Congress - we get the additional funding that President Biden asked for. We try very hard for this. I firmly believe there is bipartisan support in both chambers, we just need to achieve that, "Blinken said.
He also recalled the statement of American officials that "a magic pot of money does not exist."
"If we don't get this money, it's a real problem. It's a real problem for Ukraine. I think it's a problem for us and our leadership around the world," the US Secretary of State said.
Blinken also emphasized once again: "Of the money we are asking for, $50 billion is spent right here in the United States. This is money for the purchase of goods for Ukraine's defense, all made in America. These are American jobs."
