Man who disseminated information about location of Armed Forces of Ukraine was sentenced to six and half years in prison – Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office
Censor.NET reports with reference to the Facebook of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the prosecutor's office, in June 2022, a pro-Russian man used the Telegram mobile application to send text messages to one of his interlocutors about the Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel stationed in the city.
"Dissatisfied with the presence of Ukrainian defenders on the territory and outskirts of the settlement, he shared the results of his own observations of the locations of their equipment and weapons. In the course of the dialogues, the man placed special emphasis on the location of checkpoints and the number of soldiers present there," the statement said.
He was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison.
