We want men to come back from abroad, but we can’t do it forcefully – Danilov
NSDC Secretary Oleksii Danilov believes that Ukraine will not be able to return men of mobilization age from abroad by force.
He said this in an interview with the Azerbaijani publication Report, Censor.NET reports.
Danilov understands that people who are on the territory of another country are also subject to the laws of that country.
"We would like them to return, but we cannot do it forcefully. If a citizen officially has refugee status as a victim of military aggression, we will not be able to intervene. After all, each country has its own laws regarding people with refugee status," he explained.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that men of mobilization age should stay in Ukraine and work for the state.
