E-cabinet of persons liable for military service will be launched at beginning of second quarter of 2024 – Ministry of Defense
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to launch an electronic office for persons liable for military service in the second quarter of 2024. Whether it will be used for issuing draft notices will depend on changes to the government’s draft law on mobilization.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chornohorenko during a national telethon, ArmyInform quoted.
"We plan to launch this opportunity at the beginning of the second quarter, as soon as the law comes into force. This is a fairly short period of time, for such tools we can say instantaneous," she said.
According to her, the e-cabinet of a person liable for military service will allow him or her to update his or her data without visiting the territorial recruitment centers, and the data will be used by the TCR (Territorial Center for Recruitment - ed.).
At the same time, verification in the Oberih database has already been completed, meaning that documents have been digitized and all duplicates have been removed.
Earlier, she said that the adopted draft law No. 10062 on the digitalization of the army should improve the interaction between electronic registers. The Oberih e-registry can be filled in according to a simplified procedure, without unnecessary bureaucracy.
