Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to expand bridgehead on left bank of Kherson region, 82 clashes per day - General Staff
Over the last day, the enemy launched 2 missile and 19 air strikes, fired 68 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and localities.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Air strikes were carried out in Komisarove, Kharkiv region; Serebryanske forestry, Luhansk region; Terny, Rozdolivka, Druzhkivka, Avdiivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region; Stavky, Mykolaiv region.
More than 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of the OSGT "North" in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes. The situation in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi sectors remains unchanged. The enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia separate military unit in the Kupiansk sector, our defenders repelled 6 enemy attacks near Sinkivka, TabaiIvka in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five occupants' attacks near Terny and Torske in the Donetsk region and two more near Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled eight enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, Klishchiyivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the area of responsibility of the OSGT "Tavria" in the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, over the past day, the Defence Forces repelled 6 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka and another 10 attacks near Pervomaisk and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka sector, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 25 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk sector, our defenders repelled 6 occupants' attacks south-east of Vodiane, Zolota Nyva, and west of Staromayorsk in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks south-east of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the area of responsibility of the OSGT "Odesa" in the Kherson sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to drive our units from their positions. Over the past day, the enemy made 6 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
