Ukraine and Germany hold another round of talks on bilateral security commitments

Another round of negotiations between Ukraine and Germany on the conclusion of bilateral security commitments took place

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Presidential Office.

As noted, the negotiations with representatives of the German government on the conclusion of a bilateral agreement on security commitments and long-term support for Ukraine lasted two days and were held in pursuance of the agreements between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reached during a telephone conversation on January 24, 2024.

The Ukrainian negotiating team was headed by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva.

"The parties discussed the wording of the key provisions of the agreement, terminology and legal formalities.

Representatives of Ukraine and Germany agreed on a schedule for further communication between the negotiating groups in the near future," the statement said.
