At night, the enemy attacked Kyiv region with kamikaze drones. Air defense forces were operating in the region.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko in his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"We thank our military for shooting down enemy targets. Unfortunately, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises as a result of the falling debris. The administrative building and hangar were damaged," the statement said.
It is also noted that the fire was quickly extinguished. In addition to the buildings, three cars were damaged.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries among the population.
All operational teams are working on the spot, recording the consequences of the night attack.
What law enforcement officials say
Later, the National Police clarified that a fire broke out in a warehouse.
"The roof of the administrative building also caught fire. Rescuers extinguished the fires. In addition, three vehicles were damaged," law enforcement officials said.
Preliminary, there were no casualties.
What happened before
On the night of 30 January, explosions were heard during an enemy attack by kamikaze drones in the Kyiv region. Air defense forces were operating. It was also reported that Russian troops launched attack drones from the south on Monday evening, 29 January. Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under threat.
According to the General Staff, 15 out of 35 enemy "Shaheds" were destroyed.
