President Poroshenko ousted two District State Administrations heads bribe-takers from office

The president made a decision to suspend Head of Bobrovytsia District State Administration in Chernihiv region Mykola Suprun and Head of Hola Prystan District State Administration in Kherson region Oleksandr Bohunenko for the period of investigation.

According to the statement, the officials were detained by the law enforcement officers and accused of receiving illegal benefits.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine reported to the president on the progress in this case. He was satisfied with the work of the Main Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office on combating corruption. Petro Poroshenko reiterated the need for severe struggle against bribery in the state bodies. "Decisive anti-corruption activity of the Prosecutor General's Office confirms our clear position - there are no untouchables in the authorities," the head of state noted.
