Proposals for "economic reservation" from mobilization were rejected - "Servant of the people" Kopytin
The Council’s National Security, Defense and Intelligence Committee has rejected proposals for "economic reservation" from mobilization.
As Censor.NET informs with reference to LIGA.net, People's Deputy of "Servants of the People", member of the profile committee Ihor Kopytin, informed about this.
The discussion took place on March 25, as previously reported by People's Deputy Yurii Zdebsky from the Defense Committee.
According to Kopytin, there were separate proposals to book people who receive a certain salary and pay taxes, but they were rejected "without even a discussion."
"The purpose of the draft law is to establish a socially just mobilization. The actual essence of such amendments would be the principle of 'war for the poor'. And this is unacceptable!" - explained the parliamentarian.
Kopytin noted that the committee is conducting a preliminary review.
"Perhaps, in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada during the second reading, the authors of these amendments will be able to initiate their consideration," he added.
