Ukraine conducts one of deepest drone attacks on Russian territory - Reuters
Ukraine struck at one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, some 1,300 km from the front line.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in a Reuters article.
Images from the scene show that the drone hit the CDU-7 primary refining unit at the "Taneko" refinery. The strike was one of several in Tatarstan, a highly industrialised region southeast of Moscow.
"This was one of the deepest attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian territory. The 'Taneko' oil refinery is one of the largest and newest in Russia. Its production capacity is about 360,000 barrels per day," the newspaper writes.
A Ukrainian intelligence source told Reuters that the attack caused "significant damage" to a military target in Tatarstan.
Earlier, Russian media reported that a drone attacked an oil refinery complex in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, in the morning.
