Law on e-account of persons liable for military service signed by Zelenskyy does not provide for electronic service of draft notices - Defense Ministry
The law that provides for the launch of an electronic account for persons liable for military service does not contain provisions on the service of draft notices.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernohorenko, Censor.NET reports with reference to Suspilne.
"According to the law that was adopted and signed, there is no provision for the electronic service of summonses," the official said.
Chernohorenko explained that the e-account of a person liable for military service is needed only to update data.
As a reminder, on April 2, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed draft law No. 10062 "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine", which regulates the interaction of the unified electronic register of persons liable for military service with other state registers, enables accelerated obtaining of the status of combatant, and creates an electronic account for persons liable for military service.
