Three rescuers were killed on the scene of a second arrival at residential buildings in a densely populated area of Kharkiv.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"Not being combatants, the rescuers were attacked by enemy drones. Russia continues to ignore the norms of international law.
Vladyslav will forever be 52, Serhii will be 32, and Volodymyr will be 41. They will remain in our ranks forever.
The entire large family of the Ministry of Internal Affairs sympathises with the grief of the victims' families," the statement said.
Klymenko noted that another rescuer was injured. His condition is serious.
As a reminder, on the night of 4 March, Russian invaders attacked Kharkiv with several waves of "shaheds". In Novobavarskyi district, a total of four UAVs hit civilian infrastructure objects. Residential buildings, shops, trade pavilions, pharmacies, cars, and a medical facility were damaged. The attack killed 4 people (three rescuers and a 68-year-old woman)
12 people were injured (one rescuer, one police officer, one nurse and 9 other civilians).
