We see what’s happening in Ukraine and realize that air defense systems are needed now - Baerbock

After the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting in Brussels, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that Ukraine "needs air defense systems now."
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Radio Liberty.
As noted, in a joint video message with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that he urged the participants of the meeting to "immediately provide Ukraine with more air defense systems."
"I appreciate the response from the allies, in particular, from Germany," Kuleba said.
In turn, Baerbock noted that the Council members "clearly heard" the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
"We see what is happening in Ukraine and we understand that you need air defense now, because now schoolchildren must be safe, the port in Odesa must be protected. We, Germany, are a co-chair of the Coalition of Capabilities. So, after a strong call from the Minister of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we will again call on Europe to check where their air defense equipment is and what they can provide to Ukraine," the diplomat said.
