Former Minister Tabachnyk’s associate Kravchenko appointed to senior position at customs, she may have access to state secrets - Holka. DOCUMENT
An associate of former Yanukovych education minister Dmytro Tabachnyk, who was convicted of treason, has been appointed director of the legal department of the State Customs Service. During Tabachnyk’s tenure, Olha Kravchenko was the head of the legal department of the Ministry of Education.
This was reported on Facebook by Iryna Fedoriv, the leader of the Holka (Needle - ed. note) public initiative, Censor.NET reports.
"Tabachnyk has "metastasized" to the State Customs Service of Ukraine. His paramour was given a position and she can get access to state secrets," she said.
Fedoriv reminded that she had previously reported that the Ministry of Infrastructure's legal department is headed by Tabachnyk's associate, Olia Kravchenko.
"Tabachnyk traveled with her to the UAE, ridiculed the President's office. And, of course, he petitioned for Kravchenko's appointment to high positions. ... Of course, after the media scandal about Tabachnyk's passionate girlfriend being in the Ministry of Infrastructure, they rushed to save the situation and seemed to say goodbye to Olha Kravchenko. ... I was immediately warned that Yalo Yalo (that's how she was written in Tabachnyk's phone - Olha is the opposite) would be given a new position and even told where - she would be the head of the legal department of the customs," she said.
According to Fedoriv, Olha Kravchenko was appointed on April 10. However, the website still has no information about her appointment.
"Kravchenko has passed the Ministry of Finance's inspection and if she passes the SSU's inspection, she will have access to... state secrets. Can you imagine?" - she added.
Holka received confirmation of Kravchenko's appointment and a copy of the order of April 10, 2024, signed by the acting head of the State Customs Service, Serhii Zviahintsev. The order states that the special inspection was conducted by the Ministry of Finance and that there is a letter to that effect dated April 8.
Lawyer Illia Kostin said that Kravchenko, who has taken a senior position at the customs, may be granted access to state secrets.
"Given her high position, she should be given access to state secrets. This is stipulated by the Law on State Secrets. The Security Service of Ukraine should conduct a check," he added.
According to Toronto Television, Olha Kravchenko continued to communicate with Tabachnyk even after he fled and openly defected to Russia. She even went on vacation with Tabachnyk to Dubai in 2021, when the former minister was already on the wanted list.
