Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov is in charge of Russian occupation forces, Turchynov says
National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov is responsible for the command of the whole Russian occupation forces. He's Chief of the General Staff, and First Deputy Commander of the South military region (cover documents with the nom de guerre Sedov)," Turchynov stated.
He also named the following Russian soldiers as involved in Donbas conflict: Major General Alexei Zavizen (cover documents with the nom de guerre Pilevin), Major General Yevgeny Nikiforov (cover documents with the nom de guerre Morgun), and Lieutenant General Sergey Yudin.
"I want to once again point out that we're opposed by regular detachments of the Russian Armed Forces…," Turchynov added.
