Russian Federation changes tactics of offensive in Kharkiv region to break through Ukrainian defence - OTG "Kharkiv"
The Russian invaders are constantly trying to change the tactics of assault operations and are looking for the most effective ways to break through the defense of the Ukrainian military in the north of the Kharkiv region.
This was stated by Vitalii Sarantsev, spokesman for the Kharkiv operational and tactical group, during a telethon, ZN.ua reports, Censor.NET informs.
According to him, sometimes the enemy assaults in small groups with the support of artillery, and sometimes they try to increase these groups.
"A TOS-1 heavy flamethrower system was used against our troops in Vovchansk over the last day," said Sarantsev.
The ATO spokesman noted that the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian army, 128th and 138th brigades, as well as air assault units are fighting against the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kharkiv direction.
The invaders are replenishing their losses in this area at the expense of reserves and the movement of units from other frontline areas, Sarantsev added.
