In Kharkiv, an employee of one of the district territorial recruitment centers demanded an illegal benefit from the managers of a local bar and restaurant. In return, he promised not to mobilize the employees and visitors of the establishment.
This was reported by the press service of the regional TCR and SS, Censor.NET informs.
According to the investigation, in early June 2024, the suspect demanded an undue advantage from the managers of a Kharkiv bar and restaurant. In exchange for USD 1500 and a card with permanent discounts, the TCR employee promised not to interfere with the operation of the establishment and not to mobilize its employees and visitors.
In addition, the man promised to provide the restaurant staff with fictitious documents that would "guarantee" them a deferral from mobilization.
It is noted that the serviceman was detained "red-handed" while handing over a discount card in exchange for fake documents.
The suspect has already been chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention. He has also been suspended from performing his official duties.
"Based on the results of the pre-trial investigation and in accordance with the court decision, the necessary disciplinary and personnel measures will be taken. The command and personnel of the Kharkiv Regional TCR and SS strongly condemn any manifestations of corruption as shameful and unacceptable in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the regional TCR and SS said in a statement.
