Parents asked to leave children at home today, while Kyiv covered in smoke
As reported by Censor.NET citing the Kyiv City State Administration press service, this was announced by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Hanna Starostenko.
"As there is a risk for combustion products from the fire in the Kyiv region to be spread over some districts of Kyiv, we recommend to refrain from taking children to kindergartens and schools. However, all schools will have duty groups for children who can not stay at home. They will be staying in for whole day," the deputy head said.
Hanna Starostenko also recommends to adhere to emergency recommendations: close windows, air premises in the evening and at night, limit children's walking-outs, and use wet cloths for respiratory protection.
