Zelenskyy on contact with Orban: We exchanged greetings - this is already not bad
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the European Union summit, he greeted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The head of state said this during a press conference following his participation in a meeting of the European Council, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"As for Viktor Orban, I saw him among all the other leaders. We exchanged greetings. I think this is already good," Zelenskyy said when asked by journalists whether he had contacted the Hungarian leader.
As a reminder, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban refuses to approve the extension of sanctions against Russia from 6 to 36 months, which could complicate the allocation of loans to Ukraine, which are to be repaid from frozen Russian assets.
