Klytschko hands over large batch of drones from Kyiv community to 5th Assault Brigade in Donbas
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klytschko has handed over 550 drones of various types to the 5th Separate Kyiv Assault Brigade from the capital's community.
He announced this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, the Kyiv community handed over another 550 drones to the fighters of the 5th Separate Kyiv Assault Brigade. In particular, 150 Mavic 3T and 400 Mavic 3 PRO drones will be sent to Donbas to help our defenders in performing combat missions," Klytschko said.
The mayor reminded that at the end of the summer, Kyiv had already handed over 600 drones to the military of this brigade. This includes 300 FPV drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras and 300 Mavic drones.
"In total, since the beginning of this year, Kyiv has allocated UAH 650 million from the city budget to equip the 5th Assault Brigade. We continue to help our defenders and are constantly looking for any opportunities to do so," the mayor emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that Klitschko handed over 750 drones from the Kyiv community to the Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Brigade and another 750 UAVs to three brigades in the Kharkiv direction.
