Frontline in Ukraine "less stable" than at any time since full-scale invasion, - Healey

Міністр оборони Великої Британії Джон Гілі про ситуацію на фронті в Україні

British Defence Secretary John Healey said that the situation on the frontline in Ukraine is currently difficult, and the frontline is "less stable than at any time since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion".

He said this during a speech in the British Parliament, Sky News quoted him as saying, Censor.NET reports.

Healey noted that there is a "very clear escalation" on the part of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his forces.

According to the British defence minister, Russia is increasing the number of attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure ahead of winter, and referred to media reports that Russia has used a new type of missile against Ukraine.

The British minister called it a "serious moment".

Military intelligence today shows that the front line is now less stable it has been at any time since the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion on 24 February, and we have seen a very clear escalation by Putin and his forces in recent weeks," Healey said.

Russia launches intercontinental ballistic missile

On 21 November 2024, the Air Force announced that Russian troops had launched an intercontinental ballistic missile strike.

At the same time, the West has not yet confirmed such use.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Russia had used a new missile.
