Ukraine-U.S. relations reached unprecedented level, - Ukraine's Defense Ministry in Pentagon

Relations between Ukraine and the United States have never reached such a level in the history of Ukraine's independence.

This was stated by Ukraine's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Stepan Poltorak during a press conference in Washington, Censor.NET reports citing Defense Ministry press service.

"We feel the support and assistance rendered by our foreign partners. We appreciate our cooperation," Poltorak said.

He also thanked the Government of the United States and US Secretary of Defense for their support and assistance. "I'm sure we should stick together to overcome the challenges standing before us today," Poltorak stated.
